ORCHESTRAL SUITE FOR BEGINNERS / Suite Inicial para Percussao Orquestral
* (English) This piece was written as a primary tool to teach the basic technique for the main orchestral instruments: Triangle, Tambourine, Snare Drum, Cymbals, Bass Drum, Timpani and Mallets (Xylophone, Glockenspiel, Vibraphone and Marimba)
With the well known melody of Beethoven’s “Ode of Joy” this piece also introduces different time signature in its 3 variations (4/4, 3/4 e 5/4).
*(Portugues) Esta peça foi escrita para o ensino da tecnica basica dos principais instrumentos de percussao usados na orquestra: Triangulo, Pandeiro, Caixa, Pratos, Bombo, Timpanos e Mallets (Xilofone, Glockenspiel, Vibrafone and Marimba).
Com a conhecida melodia da “Ode a Alegria” de Beethove, a peça explora tambem diferentes compassos (4/4, 3/4 e 5/4) em suas 3 variacoes.

Como os alunos iniciantes nao estavam acostumados a tocar qualquer musica que nao fosse em 4/4, eu usei a conhecida melodia da “Ode a Alegria” de Beethoven, para introduzir diferentes compassos (4/4, 3/4 e 5/4) nas suas 3 variacoes.
