These 2 pieces are an arrangement from Memories 1 and 2 written originally for vibraphone and voice.
The original songs have lyrics written by Katie Johnson, and the pieces are based on memories that my friend Dave Johnson had during his stay in Rio de Janeiro back on the 70’s when he was the timpanist at the Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira.
