They give special importance and focus on learning to play without looking at the keyboard and to develop the kinesthetic memory that is fundamental to develop a good sight reading on mallets.
They can be played on any mallet instrument: xylophone, marimba, vibraphone and glockenspiel.

Part One: Presents exercises with simultaneous and alternating strokes to develop the correct technique and the kinesthetic memory.
Part Two: Presents twelve etudes in various different major and minor keys.
